Terra Cotta Angel
I believe in signs. An unexpectant feather floating by you as you walk. A cardinal that jumps in your lap for a pet and a moment of comfort. A butterfly that hovers in front of your face, gently flapping it's wings so long that it appears to be fanning you. So this painting is a sign moment. I was walking a side street off the center of the Italian city of Siena. While browsing the shops I heard a sound from up above. I looked up to see where it came from. An open window on the second floor. And in a quick moment it appeared to be an angel flying past the opening. I felt goosebumps fly up both my arms. I closed my eyes and blinked several times and looked back up. When looking closer, I saw that it was a terra cotta planter moving gently in the breeze of the window. But the goosebumps and wonder stayed with me for some time. A sign. So I hope you enjoy my painting, Terra Cotta Angel, and one of my moments. And I hope you have your own moments of wonderful signs.
Thanks for connecting!
